Originally conceived in the early 1990's Robodub was built out of cheap synths, broken delay units, drum machines and 2nd hand laptops and has been producing dub-orientated music for over 10 years. His first net release came out in 2012 on Ergo Phizmiz's Chinstrap netlabel and was well received with 1000's of downloads. Robodub tracks have been included in many DJ mixes and as the soundtrack to a fashion shoot video for Milk X magazine. He has played live extensively across the UK and been interviewed and played on numerous radio programs. He was recently invited to do a mix on Fari B's Free Lab Radio show on Resonance FM.

"We would like to introduce you to ROBODUB, a project from composer & visual artist Simon Mathewson. Seven slices of dub created by robots who have developed impeccable taste, these are carefully crafted genre compositions that sit together like coloured blocks as a superb listening experience, a kind of geometric reggae from a melancholy dystopia."
Two vinyl mixes of mine including dub, reggae, breakbeat and dubstep tunes.
